THE TOWN: Helsinki is definitely one of the most underrated cities in Europe, especially for two reasons: the high cost of life and the few flights operated by low cost airlines. Infact most tourists are forced to use Finnair which is one of the most important and safe european airline but for sure it’s one of the most expensive.

Instead Helsinki is an avant-garde city, in all fields of art, technology and social consciousness. Visitors can walk in the center, in the great square of the Art Nouveau train station, the port, from where ferries arrive and depart for the hundreds of islands around the capital, and in the long sea to enjoy clean air and a walk of almost 7,7 km towards the Bay of Lapinlahti. Helsinki is a vibrant city, rich in color and enthusiasm, culture, great cafes and restaurants and above all much, much, the sea.

The ideal is to add Helsinki to a tour of the Baltic Capitals because there is an easy (1 hour) and cheap connection from Tallin by ferries. In Helsinki is possible to spend some days in absolute relax, drinking a glass of white wine, reading a book, talking with friends sitted on the grass of Esplanadi Park or simply walking among Harbour’s piers. Or lose yourself in one of the hundreds lounge bars and clubs in Kamppi e Punavuori districts and in particular along Uudenmaankatu street. During summer period the movida transfers especially in Mikonatku district.
